Become Recognizable.

Helping independent creatives build recognizable brands, clear systems, and sustainable creative businesses without waiting for a traditional team.

What the Lab Believes

The artist leads.

Modern tools can help you research, design, organize, publish, and grow.
But the direction still has to come from you.

The Modern Artist Lab exists to help artists turn scattered ideas into clear identity, repeatable systems, and work people remember.

Built by Artists.Tested in Public.

The Modern Artist Lab is a founder-led creative education company built for independent artists who want more clarity, stronger systems, and greater control over their careers.

We combine real-world creative experience with practical frameworks, modern tools, and repeatable systems artists can actually use.

Our work is tested through Obsrv Studios and the creative projects we build ourselves.

That means the ideas taught inside the Lab aren’t theory. They’re shaped through real launches, real branding decisions, real content, and real creative businesses.

Meet the Founder.

Jacob is a music producer, creative director, and systems builder making music since 2010. After building two education businesses and launching multiple creative projects, he kept seeing the same pattern: the creative brands that scale well are built on strong foundations early.

The Modern Artist Lab was created from that insight—to help independent artists clarify their direction, build the right systems, and create brands designed to grow with them.

  • Make Your Work Recognizable.

Stop rebuilding your brand with every release. Define your direction once, then create from a clear, recognizable system.
